Computer Support Technician and Office 365

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted February 7, 2019.

Our client, based in Verdun, is looking to fill a position of computer support technician and Office 365.

Your mission :
Your role will be to provide technical support to their employees and provide remote support to their consulting teams in client mandates, including migrations to Office.
Your responsibilities will include:

Deploy Office 365 (tenant) desktop infrastructure.
Perform activities related to the installation, automation and configuration of user workstations.
Analyze, review and resolve technical issues of users and the network.
Coordinate all activities related to technical interventions and the life cycle of workstations.
Manage requests for access from different network drives, making sure to respect the security standards issued by the company.
Ensure the follow-up of the interventions with the users.
Ensure backup backups and management of activities that result daily.
Train future users.
Support the teams of consultants, from the office, on client mandates, in particular at the level of migrations to Office 365: interact with the IT teams of the client to carry out the project on the site and document the necessary elements to allow their autonomy, set up the documentary repository (architecture documents), monitor and guarantee the application of established good practices, and ensure the technical recipe of the deployed solution.
Participate actively in ongoing internal projects (website, SharePoint, etc.).
Technical knowledge :

DEC in computer science.
At least 4 years of experience in a similar role with participation in at least 5 migrations to Office 365.
Practical knowledge of PCs, network printers, email, operating systems and mobile devices.
Practical experience automating the deployment of an operating system and various software on workstations.
Expertise Office 365 and its environment (Intune, Azure AD Connect, AD 2008 R2 / 2012 R2, Exchange 2007/2010 / Online / On premise, SharePoint Online, Windows 7/10, etc.).
Office infrastructure expertise (AD, RODC / DHCP, DNS, SMTP, GPO).
Expertise PowerShell scripts.
Network / security expertise (extended WAN networks, routing / switching, implementation of FW security rules, Hyper-V and VmWare virtualization).

Assets: IP telephony, Windows scripting, Microsoft system center, Exchange, MS SQL, Cisco Catalyst (switches, routers, firewalls).
Personal skills :
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Great customer orientation.
Great autonomy and ability to collaborate with other team members at all times.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast environment.
Perfectly bilingual French-English (verbal and written).
The position is located at our offices on Île-des-Sœurs (Verdun).
