Job Scope

As a key member of the Operation Function you will play a crucial role to engage Laurentide in its digital transformation. Driven by a passion for innovation and technology, you will have a true impact on people’s work lives by adapting / improving the current business processes in light of new technologies available. You will either support or contribute to strategic initiatives while maintaining strong working relationship between the Operation Function and the key stakeholders in all business functions. Your role will get you to elicit, analyze, specify and validate the business needs of internal users and implement new or evolving business processes & reporting requirements to support maximizing business systems’ effectiveness and efficiency.

Specific Responsibilities:

Opportunities for improvement

  • Identify, investigate and analyze opportunities to improve the business, using information technology.
  • Facilitate interviews and workshops to gather requirements from key stakeholders regarding their needs for the process and data-related improvements.
  • Capture functional requirements and support the translation of those requirements into technical specifications
  • Review, analyze, map improvement and documentation.
  • Propose scenarios, does testing of the business processes on core business functions.
  • Monitors and evaluates areas for improvement.

Successful project implementation

  • Drive execution of approved processes.
  • Set up the organizational structure of the project.
  • Ensure planning, direction, and control of the activities as well as the resources necessary to achieve the objectives of the mandates.
  • Ensure the timetable, the coordination of the team meetings, cost control, the quality and the integration of all stakeholders.
