One of our Government clients is looking for a Workday LMS Analyst (LMS, Talent Management Systems) Length: Contract term is 8 months with a possibility of extension Location: North York, ON ( Remote work option available) This role is eligible to work from home as a temporary measure aligned with provincial prevention efforts to manage the spread of COVID-19 provided.

Individual must have a reliable internet connection and remote workspace RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Design, develop and test specific to talent development cases
– Communication documents for LMS team, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the business
– Lead the eLearning content migration
– Talent Development business and project implementation plans from concept to implementation
– Governance plan and process documentation
– Reporting to the Senior Manager Talent Development within the Employee Experience, People & Culture department, the manager will be responsible for:
– Assess talent development requirements, perform impact assessments, design, and build technical solutions to fulfill business requirements and promote the best possible user experience in Workday
– Support the full lifecycle project management experience, from initial opportunity through to requirement development / definition, functional solution design, implementation, data-migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, go-live and service management
– Lead the Learning and eLearning content migration project work including business process configuration, testing, and user training
– Collaborate on design decisions and implement enhancements
– User training and development of internal stakeholders specifically in system usage and utilization of people system tools
– Collaborate with stakeholders across the business
– Establish standards and processes for data analytics, create standard evaluation reports, and create a Talent development (LMS) dashboard
– Advise and provide recommendations to the Sr.

Manager to increase success of the overall project
– Design, develop and implement training materials for all employees and administrators
– Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE ▪ Experience working and supporting a live Workday Talent Management production environment is essential ▪ Degree or equivalent in Learning Technology/Technology field ▪ Minimum 3 years of professional experience in hands-on LMS, Talent Management Systems implementations within a med-large, complex corporate environment ▪ Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand training requirements and translate into LMS business rules ▪ Ability to identify reporting and information needs to satisfy audits and management needs ▪ Excellent documentation skills for developing information and reporting requirements ▪ Proven ability to develop effective relationships, influence and gain credibility across all levels of an organization ▪ Demonstrated communication skills, clear and concise, written and verbal; strong presentation skills ▪ Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) would be an asset ▪ Project management skills ▪ Short listed respondents will be required to make a 10-minute summary presentation of applicable skills and be interviewed by the Client’s Evaluation Team.

TECHNICAL SKILLSET FOR THE ROLE ▪ Solid technology infrastructure knowledge (e.g., servers, networking, middleware, reporting architecture, and technology standards such as SCORM, AICC, and web services standards) ▪ In-depth understanding of learning systems infrastructure (preferably Workday Talent Management systems, virtual classroom platforms, learning content delivery and standards, mobile learning, upcoming technology trends), the discipline of eLearning (design, development, delivery and evaluation of technology based learning solutions) KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS -Governance plan and process documentation -Design, develop and implement training materials for all administrators Please note that this is the most up to date version of job description available at this time
