Web Commerce Developer

Position Summary: As a member of our Information Technology Services group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external web-facing applications and working with a team of experienced developers and business resources in order to build enterprise systems that support business objectives.

What You Will Do: Lead development efforts on the IBM WebSphere Commerce platform.

Mentor team members on new technologies, practices and standards in area of expertise Work with program and enterprise teams to ensure changes are properly documented, communicated, audited, and deployed in compliance with established procedures.

Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software.

Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications.

Research and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on business partner requirements.

Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools.

Interact with business partners to understand and document requirements.

Instruct and review the work of other software developers on the development team.

Responsible for source code stability, code reviews and administration of source control.

Preferred Skills Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Over five years of experience building and maintaining a global ecommerce platform such as IBM’s WebSphere Commerce Suite Over five years of experience developing web applications, rest services using enterprise Java technologies Manufacturing industry experience is preferred Developer certification in WebSphere Commerce is preferred Programmer certification in Java is preferred Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
