Warehouse Specialist

Boshart Industries Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted May 26, 2021.

Boshart Industries is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Specialist.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general warehouse duties including; operating various industrial lifts to load/unload and stage palletized material, shipping/receiving, picking and packing orders, processing orders, and other warehouse related job tasks as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities: Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment and store the products in proper places in warehouse Monitor and maintain accurate inventory by checking product counts on overstock and pick locations to ensure pick locations maintain accurate counts Consolidate skids by ensuring same product groups get skidded together and in the area of the pick location with all barcodes facing out Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Warehouse Management immediately Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, and other necessary actions, recommending repairs and performing routine pre and post inspections and record all information on log sheet Effectively pick and pack customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment Understand and respond to pickers pages using the RF Handhelds to perform letdowns Package product safely and securely to ensure no damage during shipment by following proper skid building standards set by Boshart Industries Ensure proper labelling for boxes and product Maintain pick locations by ensuring only one box is opened per pick location and cycle counting Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent Reliable Transportation Must meet the following physical demands for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting up to 70lbs.

Technical Knowledge / Experience: Previous handheld experience would be an asset Computer skills and Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word) Training provided for all functional activities Certified Forklift Reach Truck License (will train/certify) Counterbalance Forklift License (will train/certify) Available shifts: Hiring for Afternoons: Monday to Friday 2:30pm
