The Bell Network team is on a journey to transform how Bell delivers the best customer experience with seamless access to a software-driven and cloud-based ecosystem of products, services and content.

This transformation is about simplifying, virtualizing and automating the network transport and services to lower costs and increase agility to deploy Bell services.

Key responsibilities: Work with Network Big Data & AI CoE team members, Network Engineering, Operations as well as other Bell Businesses to understand and analyze business needs Review solutions developed by team members to ensure they are efficient, scalable and resilient Explore new sources of information to uncover new business opportunities at all levels of the business (strategic to operational) Expand your understanding about public cloud (GCP) and help advance our team’s ability to deploy and migrate workflows to cloud.

Exercise leading edge analytics skills to identify previously undetected patterns of behavior or correlations between related datasets Work with and present to all management levels Maintain and expand knowledge of data systems and current technology through training opportunities Work in an agile environment and contribute to the improvement of our development processes A Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, math, applied science / engineering, or equivalent Lead a highly technical and analytical teams for a minimum of 2 years A minimum of 3 years experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithms and approaches Familiarity working with NoSQL databases and unstructured/semi-structured data Experience with Jupyter Notebook, GIT, and other software management tools Advanced skills with SQL and database systems such as MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, Hive, Impala Skills with multiple analytical tools such as Microstrategy, R, Python, Scala, Tableau Ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations Knowledge of, and preferably experience with, Big Data and/or software development, and/or developing visualization tools Statistics and math background Experience working with CI/CD tools and approaches Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems Practical knowledge with DevOps tools and programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, Ansible, GIT, etc.

Experience in Telecom or IT is a strong asset Solution Architect andor Data Engineer Cloud Certifications (GCP preferred) Indeed Tech Technology Talent Telecom DataScience Teamlead Management GCP BigData SQL Python R Tableau AI ML Leader LI-MS2 EmployeeReferralProgram Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
