Team Lead, CRM Platforms – Salesforce Marketing Cloud


This is a Contract position in Vancouver, BC posted November 24, 2022.

Your Role: We are seeking a results-driven, goal-oriented Team Lead on our CRM Platforms Team.

This role is a crucial component in delivering results for our largest, most distinguished, enterprise-level clients.

You must excel in working with various internal departments including accounts, strategy and marketing, creative, email development, customer experience, and analytics.

It takes more than just technology to build good CRM, but it takes outstanding technologists to steward its delivery.

The ideal candidate must be able to deliver a vision of how data, marketing technology and marketing automation delivers our clients’ needs and visualize the end result…then see it through.

The candidate will be a steward to other team members, leading both by behaviour and by direction.

They must be goal and result oriented, both on a large and small scale.

Lastly, they must be prepared to meet deliverables, remain on top of all daily project activities, assess changes and risk management, and do so while working on multiple priorities.

What You Will Be Doing Participate in internal & external stakeholders workshops and develop the blueprint for the best marketing automation solution.

Collaborate with various internal teams to better manage work streams and ensure project deliverability.

Build and configure automations, journeys and landing pages.

Lead user acceptance testing for the solutions built.

Liaise with clients and any external vendors for developing the best automation solution for the clients.

Review and update the process in place to achieve efficiencies in the team.

Identify risks that threaten project success and recommend workarounds.

Help your business and team stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices.

Bridge the gap between the business strategy and technology enablers and drive value-based solutions.

Understand and manage client expectations to enable a successful partnership between the client and GALE Partners teams Participate in all appropriate product/sales training, certifications, educational sessions and industry summits to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the role Who You Are 5 years of experience working on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Proven working experience using various marketing cloud components: Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder and Content Builder.

Developed solutions using Marketing Cloud in conjunction with CRMs, Websites and other applications Assisting in the solution design process with Marketing Cloud including but not limited to journeys, queries, working with data extensions etc., You are the go-to person for the team to troubleshoot any issue.

Achieving a high level of personalization using AMP Scripts and SSJS.

Partnering with project teams to design solutions with Salesforce Connector and create data models with Sales/Service Cloud (SFSC) passing engagement data back and forth.

Participating in the design of marketing automation programs including Triggered Sends, Automation Studio Activities, Platform configuration, multi-channel integrations, audience segmentation, and other components needed for marketing campaigns Well-versed in using SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques You possess strong presentation and communication skills and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience You have an entrepreneurial, creative and Challenger mindset with a passion for ensuring customer success You have a data-driven mindset, recognizes the importance of data governance and the role that data plays in enabling marketing strategy We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don’t hesitate to apply — we’d love to hear from you.
