Tax Manager

We are looking for a Tax manager to assist his partner by processing various requests from clients, by planning and reviewing engagements, and by supervising employees. main responsibilities:

  • Supervise tax specialists and act as their backup as needed. Bring them together around a stimulating vision. Encourage them to work together and grow as professionals.
  • Identify and document various tax positions, including risk analysis.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts; and other tax forms.
  • Produce various tax researches (Canadian and American taxation).
  • Find answer to Canadian and American taxation questions. Document researches with tax notes or clients’ memos.
  • Offer compliance and planning services to Canadian businesses with commercial activities in the US.Offer taxation and estate planning advice to American citizens living in Canada and to Canadian citizens working or with commercial activities in the US, or investing in US assets.
  • Develop Canadian and American taxation training content. Train staff.
  • Provide and update content on the intranet (Tax Memos and Taxation – APFF Training sections).
  • Anticipate financial and human challenges. Develop and integrate a global vision that takes into consideration both internal and external environments.
