The chosen candidate will be involved in the activities pertaining to RF Hardware integration and developing verification systems for new multi-standard radio hardware at the physical layer.

You will be responsible to:Be an integral contributor to a team responsible for the functional and performance validation of Hardware and Software components of new multi-standard radio products.Optimize the performance of integrated radio products to meet specified 3GPP industry standards and internal system requirementsAnalyzing new product designs and corresponding performance requirementsDefine test coverage scope and plan required for integration of radio unit HW and SWIdentify new equipment and software required to perform integration and verification activitiesPrepare lab environment including both HW (test equipment) and test automation software scripts (python, Matlab, C#, LabVIEW)Develop all necessary calibration and performance optimization proceduresImplement test and validation methods for optimal integration coveragePerform required functional and performance verification of radio productsAnalyze results in conjunction with Hardware, Software, and Systems engineering teams to identify and root cause product issuesProduce documentation as per radio integration and verification processesDrive continuous improvements of processes and product qualityMentor/coach more junior members within the Systems or broader RF development teamWhat you need to get the job done:Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience working directly in the development of radio products (systemization, hardware design, integration, or test).Proven experience with RF test and basic lab instruments including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power suppliesGood problem solving and trouble-shooting capacityProven experience creating RF lab verification test setups for radio product integration and verificationProven ability to develop and maintain scripts and software (python, Matlab, C#, LabVIEW) for automating lab instruments and radio products for hardware integration and verificationSolid understanding of basic communications and wireless systems theory and technologyStrong knowledge of 3GPP specifications, especially in the area of Radio performance characteristics Solid knowledge of radio standards (2G, 3G, WCDMA, LTE, WiFi, 5G)Recent experience with RF hardware design and IntegrationAn initiative, good team player, and able to work independently in a fast-paced development environment.What will make us REALLY love you:Analytical mindset, high capacity, result-oriented and ability to deliver under pressureGood problem solving and trouble-shooting capacityAn initiative, a good team player, and able to work independently in a fast-paced development environment.The candidate should be highly motivated, a self-starter, and a team playerExcellent English skills, both verbal and written, providing effective communication building strong relationships internally as well as externallyWhat you’ll love about usCompany Culture – outstanding people and a flexible work environment with lots of after work activities/groups It’s so great, we even won an award for itWork/Life Balance – 4 weeks holidays to start and work that stays at work Career Growth Opportunities – being a design house keeps variety in your work.
