One of our government clients is looking for a Sr.

Workday HRIS Analyst Length: Contract term is 9 months with a possibility of extension Location: North York, ON (Remote work is in place during COVID-19, but can change to onsite at the discretion) Hours: 9-5 pm (7.25 hours/day) ROLE The candidate the client is looking for will need to be able to “hit the road running”, as so will need the candidate to have a great breadth and number of years of experience in most of the following areas:
– Business analysis and documentation
– Implementation and Configuration of Workday’s Talent Management product
– Experience in administration of a cloud Talent Management product
– Functional Talent Management knowledge Talent Management
– Learning Management System, Performance Cycles, Succession Management, Recruitment) POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Manager HR Systems, the Sr.

HR Systems Specialist will, participate in the implementation and configuration of Workday’s Talent suite (Performance, Succession, Recruitment, Learning) that align with HR strategies and are compliant with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation and regulations with the relevance of enhancing operational performance.

Partners to ensure application integrity and security of all critical employee data storage.

– Work with SMEs and Integrator to ensure requirements are being met by the Workday Tool, as per contract
– Review configuration Workbooks for accuracy and reconcile as needed
– Collaborate with Test Lead and SMEs to provide testing scenarios and ensure configurations by Integrator are accurate and functioning as expected, through fulsome end-to-end testing ROLE TASKS TO BE PERFORMED BY THE RESOURCE
– Implements new features, system upgrades and enhanced functionality in the Talent Management systems while ensuring compliance and desired results.

Provides technical expertise as the Talent Management systems subject matter expert, focuses on process improvement, streamlining systems processes.

– Provide system-level support (troubleshooting) of multi user operating systems and software tools, including configuration, maintenance, and support of these systems.

– Lead the design of system specifications and work with internal/external technical resources to ensure that Talent Management systems are accessible, operational and fully functional.

– Responsible for process integrity and system accuracy, works with internal technical resources to ensure that the Talent Management systems are accessible, operational and fully functional.

– Partners with HR Subject Matter Experts (i.e.

HR Business Partners, Talent Management team etc.) for defining the business requirements and associated artifacts, provides recommendations to streamline and better understand HR technology processes and functionality.

– Partner with Government IT Solutions Deliver and IT Operations along with Government Games external Application Management Services provider to develop and implement new or enhanced technology (interfaces, systems integration) and manages service and support.

– Participates in projects for multidisciplinary project teams composed of experts from various business units, trainers, stakeholders and external vendors.

Implements/executes system requirements and related activities required for project implementation (business requirements, process documents, procedures etc.).

– Develop and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, new and/or upgrades.

Collaborates with HR users to coordinate all UAT, review findings and troubleshoot issues for resolution.

– Partners with the broader division to develop and execute training for HR teams and end users, including training manuals, procedures, guidelines and documentation.

– Lead appropriate issue escalation to achieve timely issue resolution.

– Lead special projects related to the testing, documentation, piloting, deployment, and communication of new functionality and system enhancements
– Accomplishes and fulfills all activities by exhibiting Government’s organizational characteristics.

– Stays abreast of emerging HR technology trends and needs through research and networking, evaluate options against business requirements and make recommendations to management that improve existing business and system processes.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE
– University degree in business, computer science, information technology.

– HR designation (with HRPA) is preferred.

– Knowledge of HR legislation, principles and practices.

– Minimum five (5) years of technical and functional experience at the super user level with multiple Talent Management systems.

– Two (2) years’ experience with functions and administration of Talent Management systems with a focus on the end user to enhance the employee and candidate experience
– 2 years hand-on Workday Talent configuration (Applicant tracking, learning management, performance) either as an administrator of the tool or consultant
– Functional understanding of how the Workday workflows enable business processes and cross-application touchpoints
– 2 years project management experience
– Self-starter, ability to work autonomously and be highly collaborative
– Document SOPs, job aids, and support the training team
– Solid experience gathering and documenting business requirements, performing data analysis and translating business requirements into functional system requirements.

– Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and presentation are essential.

– Strong communication skills.

Excellent organization, innovation, interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills
– Ability to manage confidential data professionally.

TECHNICAL SKILLSET FOR THE ROLE
– Experience in the implementation, migration and support of Workday configuration of Talent Management systems
– Experience in administration of any of: Recruitment, Learning Management System, Annual Performance Cycle
– Project Management experience (nice to have)
– Experience in Data Analytics and Reporting in Talent Management systems
