Sr. Network Security Engineer

This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted November 11, 2020.

We are looking for Sr.

Network Security Engineer to join the financial company.

The candidate will be responsible for providing innovative processes and tools for trading platforms.

Responsibilities Evaluate, implement, maintain, and monitor various network security appliances such as IDSIPS, next-generation firewalls, VPN appliances, and wireless access points.

Liaising with third parties to maintain communication lines and data center infrastructure Assist with the design of secure networks for new offices and data centers Working with traders to add or modify network connectivity to financial exchanges Collaborating with the information security team to reach common goals, and carrying out forensic investigations.

Periodically reviewing existing security policies, network topologies, and configurations to identify any opportunities to improve the networkrsquos overall security posture.

Participating in routine security audits and remediation of any vulnerabilitiesexploits while minimally impacting production network traffic Creating, updating, and presenting thorough documentation and diagrams related to network security.

Qualifications Significant knowledge of client-server architectures and network design.

The ability to work with traders and technologists to balance competing andor quickly shifting priorities.

At least 4 years of experience working with next-generation firewalls, remote access solutions, and wireless network solutions.

Expert knowledge of Palo Alto PANOS, Fortigate FortiOS, Cisco IOSNXOS, Arista EOS, or other network operating systems.

Knowledgeable of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, RIP.

Experience with VPNs including SSL VPN, IPSEC, GRE, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA.

Strong knowledge of Unix or Linux.

Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Syslog, ELK stack, PRTG, Grafana, and SNMP.

Security-related certifications such as CISSP, PCNSE, NSE, CCNP Security, or higher.
