– Remote Competitive Salary Our client is looking for an experienced Sr.

Applied Data Scientist to join their growing team to help implement Machine Learning features.

You’ll bring a deep understanding of big data and will help to build and enable big data analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate is innovative, collaborative, determined and takes great pride in their work.

You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with scientists and engineers to design, build, test, deploy, and monitor lean, scalable machine learning, statistical, and rule-based products that influence critical real-world decisions.

The Role: Code, test, and document new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications for data analytics Build and optimize ML models and pipelines Process, cleanse, verify and work with data from multiple sources Work with the data team to access and understand internal and external data sources Develop algorithms and build models to solve business problems.

Develop metrics and dashboards to measure and track the value of the solutions Work with management and application architect to enhance data collection procedures Collaborate with business team to derive high value insights from client data Collaborate with solution engineers to integrate pipelines into our proprietary applications Bring your great ideas for new products and features to the business team Lead development decision and optimization frameworks to solve critical decision problems Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership The ideal Candidate: Masters or PhD in data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline 2 years of experience in applied machine learning, predictive modeling and data-driven applications is required Strong data intuition, deep knowledge in data modeling, statistical inference, machine learning, and other quantitative approaches; clustering and classification techniques, causal analysis is a plus Outstanding in Python or another high-level language (Scala, C#, Java) skills Comfortable using Scikit learn, Numpy, Pandas, and keras Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches Proven track record delivering lean solutions to complex research problems Deep understanding of research design and software design Highly analytical and detail oriented Ability to design and present complex data sets in a variety of visually compelling formats Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organizational, and trouble-shooting skills Understanding of time series data as well as analysis and modeling techniques Thank you for your interest in this job posting.
