Solution Analyst, eCommerce DOM


This is a Contract position in Valcourt, QC posted March 22, 2022.

This role is designed to be part of the newly defined Solutions Management organization at BRP. This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios, who will provide support and continuous improvement to enable the organization to maximize the investments in its new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives. We are looking for smart, independent, and motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about being part of this exciting growth journey.


  • Provide expert knowledge in Distributed Order Management systems (Manhattan solution in particular) to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions
  • Provide expert knowledge in payment provider solutions to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions
  • Develop relationships with key business users to drive the effectiveness of the above solutions
  • Support the business and Program Office in demand management and project prioritization
  • Participate in the elaboration of projects/implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work with Application Management Services (AMS)/Application Development and Management (ADM) teams and other partners, and lead continuous improvement activities
  • Participate or lead relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation
  • Provide technical support to project delivery and continuous improvement work.
  • Develop and provide standards and best practices to the Program Office, Support teams, as well as Partners, for project delivery and application maintenance.
  • Define and provide governance for the design of e-commerce distributed order management system requirements. Ensure technical specifications are matching business requirements. Supervise and guide key resources for the development and testing phases. 
  • Develop functional specifications and design specifications
  • Support peer review of design standards and specifications
  • Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality / solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses, where appropriate
  • Assist with the resolution of complex application support and maintenance issues, where relevant
  • Govern the transition and handoff from the project delivery team to the application support team.
  • Support the business and super users when required
  • When applicable, supports organizational change management functions in the development and delivery of end user training, change impact assessments and job aids
  • Suggest improvements for the solutions maintenance/operation


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject areas
  • Very strong understanding of ecommerce and distributed order management solutions and experience in managing distributed order management specific functionalities in an ecommerce context
  • 5+ years' experience in configuring Manhattan or related solutions
  • Good understanding of other solutions that integrate to Manhattan such as Magento, Akeneo (PIM) and ERP applications (SAP)
  • Experience working with third-party integrations within Manhattan.
  • Understanding of Security, compliance and GDPR is an asset
  • Understanding of IS&T operational processes is an asset
  • Business knowledge and process design skills for retail industry is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a positive demeanor and a go getter attitude.
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as strong analytical problem-solving skills
  • English/French bilingualism is an asset
