Our Contract Engineering Department is Canada’s largest supplier of space optical sensors used worldwide for greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and weather forecasting.

The plant is known for its expertise in the development and manufacture of industrial optical sensing products.As such, you will act as a software developer as part of a multidisciplinary research and development team.

The latter is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and integrating solutions for clients such as the Canadian Space Agency, but also for our analysis and measurement products.

Your responsibilities Look for new ideas for technological innovation and share expertise at the team meetings and in the technical reports.

Participate in the design and development of our next generations of products, but also of scientific instruments developed specifically for a client.

Participate in the product support in collaboration with the other departments of the company.

Participate in the project estimate, functional analysis, design and code review processes, and in transfer to production.

Participate in integration testing.

Participate in document writing.

Analyze and solve complex problems for the development of innovative solutions.

Your background University degree in computer science or college degree with relevant experience.

Good knowledge of Linux systems and C/C, Python and JAVA programming languages.

Knowledge of object-oriented design and modeling (UML, Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect).
