SUMMARY

As a software architect, you will have to propose software architectures that are homogeneous, compatible and consistent with the technical architecture requirements for OPTEL’s various systems. You will also define the technical orientations of the product and applications, anticipating changes in technological environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In hybrid mode, in the office or from home, enjoy the privilege of working in an agile team (consisting of a product owner, 8 backend, front end and devops developers and an SQA) and interacting with other architects and teams in an international context.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the product department to identify customer needs and the context of product use;
• Propose innovative solutions to meet customer needs;
• Evaluate development efforts;
• Write design specifications;
• Work closely with the development team;
• Participate occasionally in development efforts;
• Contribute to the organization and processes of the software department.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• You have a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science;
• You have 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT development and integration of technological solutions in software architecture;
• You have an excellent knowledge of the Python programming language (C++ and C# are assets);
• You have a good knowledge of Design Patterns;
• You are resourceful, creative and autonomous;
• You are a team player with analytical and practical skills;
• You show initiative and innovation.
• You have a good knowledge of real-time applications and of interactions between software and hardware (an asset).
