CGI wants to change the way our customers develop, deliver and operate software. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of site reliability engineering, with a strong background in ELK, Python, BASH, Jira, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with project managers, solution architects and team members to ensure SRE projects are delivered accurately and within timeline & budget for clients.
· Work with clients to assess Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure systems that meet the needs of our customers
· Collaborate with other engineers to develop effective strategies and solutions for improving system reliability and availability
· Monitor and troubleshoot systems to identify and resolve issues before they affect customers
· Participate in on-call rotations and provide timely responses to critical incidents
· Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, policies, and procedures for site reliability engineering
· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend new tools and processes to improve our systems

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or a similar role
– Strong knowledge of ELK, Python, BASH, Jira, PagerDuty, Prometheus, Grafana, GCP (preferred), AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies
– Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
– Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– GCP, AWS, Azure certifications are ideal
– Degree/Diploma or equivalent
