Service Management Transformation Director

Service Management Transformation Director On behalf of our client in the Healthcare industry, Procom Consultants Group is currently searching for a Service Management Transformation Director.

Service Management Transformation Director Job Description: The team will be tasked with performing a current-state assessment of IMITS Service Management health and capabilities.

The current-state assessment will be used to identify areas of strength and capability gaps to create a plan that will increase IMITS’ capabilities and improve the overall Service Management organization.

The functional areas include but are not limited to: Self Service Policy and Compliance Asset and Lifecycle Management Reporting and Dashboards Event Management Service Catalog Management Incident and Problem Management Change and Release Management Process Management Knowledge Management Service Requests Service Management The Service Management Transformation Director is expected to lead the transition of existing services to an enhanced Service Management Organization within IMITS.

Service Management Transformation Director Mandatory Skills: An Expert-level Program Director is required for a complex enterprise project with proven experience managing multiple stakeholder groups.

This person should have extensive demonstrable experience with IT Service Management concepts and implementation.

Overall responsibility for the Service Management transformation Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or a combination of experience and education Must have demonstrated 10 years in a Program Director or equivalent role running complex, multi-stakeholder projects Must have demonstrated 10 years Program/Portfolio experience in a complex enterprise environment Must have 10 years experience working IT service organizations Must have demonstrated 5 years working in a Health Authority or similar environment Demonstrated excellent communication skills and experience making formal presentations and summarizing recommendations to Executive leaders within a large organization Demonstrated experience developing and implementing projects and business process initiatives designed to improve efficiencies Demonstrated experience leading an interdisciplinary team of technical and business resources effectively Demonstrated experience of working in a complex enterprise environment Demonstrated ability to work within and help resolve uncertain situations Experience working with a PMO, complying with standards and practices A positive change leader with demonstrated experience in Change Management techniques Training and experience in best practice project management techniques and processes ITIL or other IT service management discipline certification highly desirable PMP certification desirable PROSCI or other Change Management certification desirable Experience with the following: Vendor management Senior Executive relationship management Service Management Transformation Director Start Date: July, 2019 Service Management Transformation Director Assignment length: June, 2020 Service Management Transformation Director Work Location: Burnaby BC
