As a Tier 3 Technician, you will be an escalation point for our tier 1 and tier 2 team members and a point of contact for our clients and vendors. Working with the Team Lead, the Tier 3 technician will have complete tier 1 and tier 2 knowledge, advanced client and system knowledge including networking settings, sonic walls and VM Ware; as well as advanced technical and computer knowledge. The Tier 3 technician is a point of strength within the department and is able to manage time and tasks adequately and closes most tickets with ease.


  • You will consistently leverage previous experience, tools, and resources to answer tickets
  • Providing advanced application-specific knowledge to assist other technicians when necessary
  • Advanced knowledge of O365
  • Previous experience with Pin Pads, POS, Scanners
  • Configuring and troubleshooting VMware issues
  • Confidently demonstrating how to set up a server and the ability to restore a server in approximately one hour
  • Advising Tier 2 technicians what questions to ask a Vendor and assisting Tier 1 technicians on a general basis
  • Being a confident subject matter expert in 2 or more areas; ex. VM Ware, Microsoft Exchange, etc.


  • Minimum 5 years IT Help Desk/Support Experience
  • Completion of multiple professionally recognized certifications
  • Advanced troubleshooting ability
  • Experience mentoring and sharing knowledge with other team members
  • Experience being the final point of escalation for client issues
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization technologies and networking
