Title: Senior Automation QA Analyst Department: Commercial Lending Technology Reports To: Delivery Manager Purpose of the Job The Senior Automation QA Analyst is a key member of the team responsible for supporting the planning, design and execution of all software testing activities within Equitable Bank .

The Senior Automation QA Analyst will lead automation QA work collaboratively within the IT department and other business units to ensure that the software is thoroughly tested and released with the highest quality possible .The Senior Automation QA Analyst will support and analyze project artifacts to identify test requirements, design and execute test scripts, and participate in the defect process including reporting, monitoring, and resolution.Testing will include system functional testing, conversion, integration and performance testing.The Senior Automation QA Analyst will have primary responsibility for converting existing manual test packages into automated test packages, as well as creating net new automated test packages.The Senior Automation QA Analyst will also support user acceptance testing where appropriate.

Main Activities Review business requirements and clarify any ambiguity ensuring acceptance conditions are understood Define test methods, create test plans to support and perform various types of testing such as white-box, black-box testing, negative testing, customer scenario testing, performance testing, regression testing, data seeding, and platform testing Create and manage testing frameworks / harnesses which provide scalability and coverage across complex testing scenarios and end to end architectures Review automated testcases created using Protractor, Selenium Webdriver, QTP, TestComplete, SoupUI, Postman, or other equivalent tool to achieve maximum code coverage and testing effectiveness Suggest different solutions and tools required to create testcases for achieving maximum throughput Create and manage security based testing scenarios related to Authentication, Authorization and common requirements such as OWASP 10 Develop and execute test cases within the agreed upon timelines ensuring the application is performing as expected Assess and escalate critical & high impact quality issues to the Delivery Manager, QA manager or Project Lead Review test deliverables, manage defects and document test results Participate in defect review meetings and provide analysis as required Assist in the validation of newly created testing environments in coordination with vendors and IT Troubleshoot and review logs, APM metrics, infrastructure components, and application data as required to analyze potential defects.

Help Delivery Manager and/or QA Manager to create status and progress reports, and testing metrics as required.

Support user acceptance testing phase Follow prescribed change control procedures, making sure all changes are properly documented, approved and communicated Knowledge/Skill Requirements Minimum 10 years’ experience in QA 5 years’ experience with test plan preparation and test case execution preferably in the financial industry University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and/or equivalent degree or business related experience Must have a solid understanding or experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD) Strong knowledge of Java / Spring, JavaScript, Angular, and/or MuleSoft with the ability to write code from scratch.

Experience testing APIs, preferably external / public facing Experience writing SQL statements and database testing skills Good understanding of SDLC and of Agile/Scrum software development process Ability to analyze and understand issues of a technical nature Strong aptitude for learning new technologizes Ability to interact effectively within a cross functional team Additional Nice To Have Skills Strong skills in using JIRA Confluence Zephyr Previous experience working with Lending Origination, Digital Banking, or Core Banking Systems such as PortfolioPlus, Cyberquery or Temenos 24 Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment in a Cloud-Native DevOps environment Equitable Bank is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified candidates.
