– this is the role you’ve been waiting for The Data Insights & Analytics team at Loblaw is seeking a Senior .Net Developer with specialty in Identity Management (matching and identity resolution) systems development.

We are about to embark on an exciting programme of work to design, create and integrate a cutting-edge new Identity Management system at Loblaw.

Reporting to the Senior Architect
– Identity Management, the Senior .Net Developer help will turn ideas, requirements, algorithms and business logic designs into working systems with the help of the Senior Architect and offshore development team.

You will be responsible for leading/managing one or more scrum teams, as well as collaborating with other teams in the programme, and across the enterprise.

Typical Activities: .Net REST Microservices development Member of global (3 country) agile development team (Kanban/Scrum) Rapid development of working code .NET development Managing 1-2 offshore scrum teams Data pipeline framework development (services & scriptin g ) Data-centric B2B services development Provide thought leadership and proactive technical mentoring to development teams Implement CD/CI processes in the Identity Management SDLC Technical Skills & Qualifications: Required Skills 5 years C#/ DotNet Experience with MQ based systems development (e.g.

RabbitMQ) Experience in microservices architecture & development Team leadership/coordination including recruiting, onboarding , technical mentoring and performance management.

High expertise in agile work practices & frameworks , including ability to train others Unit Integration testing design, setup and implementation Building REST services and back
– end systems Experience with at least 1 major Cloud ecosystem (Azure/GCP/AWS) , GCP a plus.

Familiarity with collaboration tools: MS Teams, Slack , Confluence, JIRA Demonstrated f amiliarity with distributed international team execution (DI&A has team members in Canada, USA, Australia and India) Familiarity & experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio, VSC Source control best-practice ( Git, SourceTree, BitBucket , GitHub etc) Good documentation skills Agile experience mandatory, qualifications/certification preferred Strong familiarity with CI/CD practices and supporting tools such as Terraform, GitLab, Jenkins and Octopus Strong technical background in data warehousing, ETL and database design including both traditional DBMS and NOSQL data environments.

Experience with Cloud technologies ( AWS,GCP , Azure), PaaS, container & virtualization technologies (e.g.

Docker) Demonstrated knowledge of the data management lifecycle, including experience with data quality and metadata management.

Experience in conducting business analysis to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.

A Team player and self-starter with the ability to take initiative, multi
– task and work in a fast-paced environment.
