Department: The Product department develops exceptional products that are consistent with the Bank’s mission and strategy, and delivers great experiences for our clients.

Specifically, the department builds value propositions to deliver against a competitive product roadmap, manages the profitability and usability of our existing suite of offerings, and partners with key departments to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Role Purpose: The Senior Manager, Deposit Product Management ensures that Tangerine’s deposit products support the strategic direction of our brand, delivers on initiatives to meet our volume and profitability goals and deliver a wow experience in addressing the needs of Canadians.

The successful incumbent will lead a team in collaboration with marketing and other partners across the organization in the development and implementation of new deposit products and a roadmap for potential product changes and launches.

The Senior Product Manager will report directly to the Director of Deposits.

Is this role right for you?

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, attitudes and behaviours by thoroughly understanding the results of our initiatives, and regularly listening to clients to develop a deep understanding of their buying process.

Identify and build the case for the critical product success factors that will make our deposit products valuable to clients and profitable for the Bank.

Lead the development and monitor the implementation of deposit initiatives that supports our brand.

Understand, build strategies and lead key actions to improve the acquisition, retention and client satisfaction numbers for deposit products.

Lead initiatives within the deposit product team to drive incremental, evolutionary and disruptive innovations within the deposit business with focus on products and client facing processes across web, mobile and phone channels.

Lead the development of project requirements and business cases to apply client and staff insights to disrupt the market and outsmart the competition.

Complete business casing and build relationships in support of gaining support and the necessary resources to execute savings product launches and improvements.

Lead deliveries in collaboration with various other teams (i.e.

IT, Marketing, Sales, etc.) throughout the organization to implement recommendations that strengthen deposit product features, positioning or processes.

Present reports to the Executive on deposit product results, plans and strategy.

Responsible for understanding and complying with the Regulatory Compliance Framework including the Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy and all AML related policies, procedures and controls within the department.

Skills you need to succeed.

University Degree in Business or equivalent 5-7 years of product development experience Experience building and executing growth strategies Experience winning business case approval and following through to successful implementation Thorough understanding of deposit products, key success factors and the regulatory environment surrounding them Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Exceptional communication skills What’s in it for you.
