Deloitte Management Services seeks an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer AWS and or Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for the Cloud Solutions team of the Technology & Infrastructure department in the Information Technology Services organization.
What will your typical day look like?
The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in the areas of emerging cloud technologies within a highly dynamic and progressive environment. This role will involve programmatic deployment of robust Infrastructure solutions in the cloud. A solid understanding of enterprise storage, compute and networking technologies in the cloud is key. The focus will be on building and managing Azure, AWS, and GCP based cloud Infrastructure via code. Programing/scripting and code management experience is required.
About the team
You will provide technical expertise in a team consisting of engineers and technicians located in Canada, Chile and in India. The incumbent will be required to work closely with a diverse range of internal and external personnel – sponsors, stakeholders, users, and technical team leads on highly complex technical designs, migrations, deployments, and daily operational duties managing Deloitte’s cloud IT infrastructure.

You are someone who:
- Is an expert on one of the two cloud platforms and has working experience on the other i.e. AWS and Azure.
- Has automated the buildout of Cloud based infrastructure solutions.
- Can drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation and orchestration.
- Has collaboration experience with infrastructure teams to facilitate build out of public cloud based solutions.
- Reviewed and implemented cloud based security requirements as code or policy.
- Documented infrastructure builds and created system support run books.
- Enforced standardization of environment configuration and prevented configuration drifts.
- Has programming skills to facilitate automation of infrastructure builds.
- Has advanced knowledge of provisioning resources in the cloud with focus on automation leveraging enterprise tools (Azure ARM templates, AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform).
