This is a hands-on position for delivering a world-class data product called Veeva Data Cloud to help support the industry by bringing greater innovation and choice to the data market.

Veeva Data Cloud is powered by the Crossix Data Platform, a world-class technology platform built for the development and delivery of large-scale patient data and analytics.

What You’ll Do Build, recommend, maintain and own appropriate frameworks to automate test scenarios.

Collaborate with Development Managers, Product Owners, DevOps, and other teams to ensure the highest quality of the product by architecting automation focused solutions.

Use your java skills to manage and augment our built in-house framework as well as adding new cases Review requirement specifications and technical design documentation to provide timely feedback Create and improve testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation test scripts Identify, document, and verify bugs Participate actively in functional, system, integration, and regression testing activities Develop a deep expertise in the product Mentoring junior QA and providing direction for Data Cloud automation.

Requirements 5 years of QA/Development experience with a proven track record of designing, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.

2 years Java development experience Fluent with Java Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG/JUnit Strong understanding of API integration and web service methods (REST, XML, JSON).

Experience with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tools such as GitHub, GitOps, Codefresh Experience with Cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS/Kubernetes Working experience with BigData, data lake, ETL In-depth understanding of Software QA methodologies and approaches in a software company with short release cycles Experience in writing test cases that cover both sanity and in-depth testing including and not limited to boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests Expertise in relational databases and SQL Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience Nice to Have Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence is an advantage Pharma life sciences industry experience is an asset Experience with Python is an asset Conveniently located in downtown Toronto Snacks, beverages, and weekly lunches from local restaurants Team events and rec league sports teams Allocations for continuous learning & development Health & wellness programs Weekly yoga classes Ping pong and other games Veeva’s headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
