Scala/Java Developer

This is a Contract position in Vancouver, ia posted October 5, 2021.

Project Description: This role is for an experienced Scala/Java developer who has strong architectural and design expertise to work on the strategic re-platforming of existing applications and end user solutions.

Main responsibilities of the suite of applications are market data loading/streaming, index level calculation, data distribution and hedge calculations.

The role is to join a globally distributed team tasked with evolving current architecture towards event driven, near real-time, JVM based micro service architecture to provide horizontal scaling, fault tolerance and improved response and processing times.
