Salesforce – Technical Business Analyst

This is a Contract position in Vancouver, ia posted October 5, 2021.

On behalf of our client, one of Canada’s largest banks and one of the largest banks in the world by market capitalization, Equality Street is seeking a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst to add to their Digital Marketing Technology team.

We will require knowledge of backend services like API/Data/SQL as well as Java and Kafka queues to connect to Salesforce via API.

Experience on SFDC and SFMC will be an advantage.

This role will require lots of coordination and integration work with various teams.

This is a contract role with an immediate start of 6 months with a high chance to be extended.

Location: Toronto, ON (temporarily remote due to Covid-19) Requirements for the role: 5 years of experience as a technical BA/BSA Knowledge of backend services like API/Data/SQL Experience coding using Java and Kafka queues and the ability to connect to Salesforce via API Experience in Salesforce technologies (Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud) Certification in Salesforce will be an advantage Proven ability to gather Business and Systems requirements independently, having strong business analysis and systems analysis skills.

Strong knowledge of Requirements methodology (planning, elicitation, documentation) Experience in Requirements analysis and quality documentation: Use Cases, Data Requirements, Business Rules Analysis, Non-Functional Requirements, User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Story Mapping, Wireframes, Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition Excellent collaboration skills and attention to detail.

Experience working on large projects.

Excellent communication skills required; will be working with BU stakeholders and IT stakeholders Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (minimum) Strong team player with a track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team Strong written and oral communications skills Experience and knowledge of SQL will be an advantage Experience in test case design and test execution Job responsibilities: Work and collaborate with various teams (internal and external) working on offer delivery project Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to stakeholders Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review Prepare user stories, groom backlog with appropriate acceptance criteria.

Prepare documents like wireframes, design flow, UI etc., as and when required.

Closely work with the product owner to prioritize user stories, and actively participate in sprints and sprint planning sessions.

Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients.

Prepare, coordinate, execute and track UAT Test plan, test cases, PIV test plan and test cases.

Prepare and deliver presentations to business partners to facilitate decision making, scope confirmation and acceptance of user stories Provide feedback on the quality of deliverables and escalate quality issues Work with other team members (QA & developers) to fix and re-test defects Prepare user guides and presentations for new and existing system capabilities keeping all documentation up-to-date If you meet the above requirements, we encourage you to submit your resume to the EQS team for further discussion.
