Salesforce Solution Analyst


This is a Contract position in Saint-Bruno-De-Montarville, QC posted January 9, 2022.

This role is designed to be part of the newly defined Solutions Management organization at BRP.

This group consists of functional and technical experts across multiple application portfolios, who will provide support and continuous improvement to enable the organization to maximize the investments in its new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expert knowledge on Salesforce solution to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions Develop productive relationships with architects across the organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value.

Act as a Salesforce SME for projects related to the Salesforce platform.

Working with stakeholders and other platform architects to accomplish this application work in a way that improves the business and technical fitness of the application portfolio and minimizes its ongoing support costs.

Define (Participate) and enhance methodologies and practices for the application lifecycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.

Supports the business and super users when required Develop proof of concepts for elements in order to orient projects and development efforts.

Participate in business workshops with stakeholders to advise on the Salesforce platform best practice in regard to BRP’s interest.

Validate deployment of metadata to the platform and perform code reviews of custom components.

Participate in the effort estimation review of requirements / stories.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 5 years of experience in a development or administrative role involving Salesforce.

This includes expertise in functional and technical capabilities.

Working on both project implementations and support.

An undergraduate or postgraduate degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.

Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.

Strong communication / interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management.

Strong problem-solving skills, a positive demeanor and a go-getter attitude.

In-depth knowledge of Salesforce principles and methods of execution In-depth knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning framework Knowledge of Javascript / JQuery / HTML5 Experience with Salesforce Communities, Service Cloud and Sales Cloud will be considered as an asset Salesforce certification will be considered as an asset
