RPA Developer

Job Description Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics, the RPA Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative RPA solutions to the organization to enhance business productivity and maximize efficiency, providing significant ROI, reducing risk and achieving strategic objectives.

This position can be based out of the Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg or the Mississauga office under a hybrid home/office working model.

Responsibilities Design and Development Design, develop and maintain solution architecture and technical roadmaps for intelligent automation capabilities using an effective, agile approach.

Design cloud-native solutions for end-to-end process automation across the organization.

Design and build proof of concept solutions as needed.

Develop data privacy and security policies for the RPA program.

Develop guidelines and standards for RPA solution configuration and ensure the solution continues to meet performance, security, and maintenance requirements.

Perform design and configuration reviews to ensure that solutions are adhering to defined standards.

Anticipate resource acquisition.

Investigate and document better practices/alternative solutions that could be used in future development.

Process and Solution Management Determine stakeholder needs, conduct current state analysis, and explore multiple solutions and/or vendor offerings to minimize risk and deliver sustainable solutions.

Derive, challenge and can comprehend and speak to detailed application requirements.

Manage multiple engagements and priorities autonomously and in parallel.

Develop and communicate standards and processes where appropriate.

Showcase capabilities, cultivate use-cases and drive adoption of RPA.

Define and maintain the security architecture to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the solution, including access to RPA solutions, specific access to data, based on security roles.

Collaboration Partner with business analysts and developers to automate the targeted processes.

Partner with key project stakeholders to identify, track, and escalate risks and issues.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure regulatory and overall data compliance and adherence to business process controls.

Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline 5 years’ progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology fields 3 years’ proven experience in RPA UiPath design and development standards Expert knowledge in RE framework, multi-bot architecture, exception handling Ability to develop strategy, technology roadmap, and best practices on Software Development Life Cycle Strong technical foundation with a solid background in system design, architectural patterns, and ability to map technology concepts across various technology platforms Ability to synthesize information and to clearly articulate precise messages to a variety of audiences Ability to use good judgment and demonstrate discretion in the handling of confidential and or sensitive information Highly developed interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups Strong written and oral communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities, capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail About Us Safety, sustainability, collaboration, and integrity are core company values that encourage innovation and make a lasting difference in meeting the goals of our stakeholders and the communities in which we operate.
