Randstad: Automation Test Specialist


This is a Full-time position in Guelph, ON posted September 11, 2020.

WEST END GTA CLIENT REQUIRES AN AUTOMATION TEST SPECIALIST FOR A TWELVE MONTH CONTRACT ON A TERM BASIS, (PAID A SALARY BY THE EMPLOYER, NOT HOURLY), WITH A POTENTIAL FOR RENEWALMANDATORY University undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or equivalent Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Information Technology capacity 4+ years’ experience in testing environments, test methodologies, test tools, technical writing, and software development life-cycle 2+ years’ experience in developing automation solutions using C# and/or JAVA is required Must have technical expertise in SQL, C#, Python, .NET, XML, HTML, data modeling, Oracle, IBM DB2, mainframe and IBM Cognos Business Intelligence Ability to critically read and evaluate functional and technical documentation Strong experience with software testing techniques and methods to achieve optimal quality results Experience in system design, programming, debugging and root cause analysisNICE TO HAVE Experience with Siebel, eCustomer, Microsoft BizTalk, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Selenium 2.0, Grinder, and Visual Studio Team Services an asset Experience with TSO/ ISPF, CICS, JCL, COBOL, Visual Studio, ASP and design patterns an asset Experience in software architecture and engineering and in-depth white-box understanding of Server technology an asset Knowledge of the agricultural industry an asset Randstad Professionals CanadaRandstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
