Do you want to be part of a Mobile Team that travels regularly?

About the Position Public Health requires administrative professionals to work with the mobile unit teams for booking, registration, and related administrative tasks.

We provide all necessary equipment to perform your job and stay connected with the mobile team and your manager.

All related travel expenses are reimbursed.

About Public Health’s Mobile Unit Public Health’s new mobile units were first implemented in December and are an essential piece of Nova Scotia Health’s Covid response.

These large vans travel throughout each zone and across the province as needed to provide quicker Covid testing and Covid immunizations for targeted populations.

Each van is supported by a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, emergency support aides and administrative support staff.

Being a member of a Public Health Mobile Team means you are comfortable:
• Driving and travelling in all weather in your own reliable vehicle
• Serving vulnerable/marginalized populations
• Working 10.5-hour shifts
• Working evenings or weekends if required.

• Staying overnight if required (depending on destination) Please Note: Please ensure your resume includes all relevant education, experience, training and certifications.

Salaries are determined by their respective unions and commensurate with experience.

Union representation is dependent on the location of the successful candidate.

• Northern Zone
– Truro & Surrounding Areas
• Eastern Zone
– Sydney & Surrounding Areas
• Central Zone
– Dartmouth, Halifax and surrounding areas.
