Project Manager – Creative development

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted November 21, 2020.

ABOUT THE POSITION As a Project Manager
– Creative Development, you will be responsible for setting up, executing, coordinating, controlling and completing the various creative projects that emanate from the Creative Development team.

Under the supervision of the executive producer, the project manager is the key person at the center of the teams.

He manages the smooth running of projects, supervises the work of the various departments involved and ensures the smooth flow of information between them.

Acting as a focal point, the ideal candidate will benefit from previous experience in the field as a project manager.

– Identify the needs & resources needed to complete the projects in agreement with the executive producer;
– Develop the budget, establish the schedule and do the necessary follow-ups with each of the teams in order to respect it;
– Make sure that the project realization steps are respected and carried out in due form;
– Participate in risk assessment by creating and implementing tools;
– Manage the progress of projects and supervise the work of the creative team and its collaborators;
– Organize & manage the meetings necessary for the progress of the projects (inviting people, setting agendas, writing minutes, etc.);
– Take care of the accounting & process invoices following the approval of the executive producer;
– Supervise the drafting of contracts & negotiate fees;
– Ensure the smooth flow of information between the various departments;
– Work on the optimization of the operational process;
– Align the execution teams and practices.

– 5 years of recognized experience as a project manager in a related field;
– Bachelor’s degree in communication or management; -In-depth knowledge of project management techniques and methods;
– Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite;
– Knowledge of project management software such as Basecamp, Asana, Trello, etc.;
– Autonomous & adaptable in a fast & changing environment;
– Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail;
– Excellent ability to communicate both orally & in writing, in French & English;
– Analytical & creative mind with the ability to solve problems;
– Strong leadership, negotiation & planning skills;
– Strong interest in culture, art & digital media.
