Project Coordinator

Commsoft Technologies - Fidelio

This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted June 21, 2022.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Under the authority of the Principal Director – Professional Services, the Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all the projects. The Project Coordinator supports Commsoft clients during the implementation, maintenance and upgrade of the ERP system and its solutions.

MAIN TASKS

  • Plans, documents and obtains client approval for the project plan (resources, timelines, budgets, hours of work, etc.);
  • Coordinates the execution of the activities as per the pre-established parameters and in collaboration with the director and the team;
  • Identifies and assigns the resources and adequately distributes the project tasks in collaboration with the Manager – Professional Services;
  • Provides operational and administrative support to accomplish various project coordination tasks;
  • Updates project information and makes sure the needs expressed by the organization and partners are met;
  • Ensures continuous and effective communication with all the partners;
  • Writes bids and participates in negotiations with clients;
  • Organizes and runs project management meetings;
  • Shares the information with the teams and makes sure everyone follows the project;
  • Creates progress reports and management indicators and ensures they are distributed and updated as the project progresses;
  • Supports customers and the team during the postmortem project analysis and makes sure the observations and recommendations are documented and communicated to management;
  • Ensures data is entered and uses the computer and project management tools on a daily basis;
  • Maintains excellent internal customer satisfaction via rapid and effective communication with clients;
  • Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of processes.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in administration with a specialization in information management and information systems or in project management or in a related field or with a combination of training and relevant experience;
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in project management;
  • Experience in ERP system project management is a definite asset;
  • Awareness of the realities of small and medium-sized businesses;
  • Mastery of MS Office suite and Visio;
  • Owns a car and has a valid driver’s licence;
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
