The Digital Project Management Office (PMO) Team supports impactful delivery of solutions benefiting the health system; discovers, validates designs and delivers opportunities of change, and brings contextual awareness through data to ensure successful implementations, value and outcomes for UHN’s patients.

An exciting opportunity is available to showcase your talents as a Project & Business Process Analyst in the Digital PMO.

We are seeking a bold, creative, and innovative individual who can effectively contribute to various types of digital projects that support clinicians, researchers, educators, patients, and corporate business areas.

In your role, you will work on solutions that are patient-centric and data-driven, bring value to our stakeholders, and achieve UHN’s business objectives.

Responsibilities include: Analyze business needs, problems, opportunities, and solution scope Document value statements and collect benefit metrics, support business case development and return on investment analysis Work with multidisciplinary groups to identify, validate, and document clinical, business and technical requirements Conduct workflow review and process redesign, and support continuous improvement processes Coordinate and conduct business systems analysis, system design, build, and testing Collect and analyze data, complete data reporting and apply data visualization techniques Assist in the maintenance of project plans, schedules, status reports, budgets, and other project management documentation as required Prepare meeting minutes, communications, and training materials Develop an adequate level of knowledge of the subject matter and digital systems to effectively move projects forward Lead small projects and moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision Position Overview: The Project & Business Process Analyst will report into the Senior Project Manager, Digital Project Management Office (PMO)
– Infrastructure Program and work closely with the Project Manager to help coordinate activities as part of an enterprise-wide telephony and network refresh project across the various hospital sites.

Qualifications: Experience, Education & Certifications Undergraduate Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field Minimum 2 years of project management, business process/analysis, and data analysis experience or equivalent Good knowledge of project management best practice methodologies (project planning, implementation, evaluation, risk assessment, benefits realization) Experience working on workstreams within a large project or leading small projects independently Experience in conducting workflow analysis, value stream mapping, data mapping, and Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles Experience performing application testing (e.g.

unit, regression, acceptance testing) Experience in applying change management methodologies and tools Experience in delivering presentations, training and/or end user support Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean/Six Sigma, or Change Management certification an asse Clinical training and experience with electronic patient record systems an asse Familiarity with healthcare information systems, interfaces, HL7, ITIL, and/or enterprise architecture an asset Skills Excellent problem definition, problem resolution, business analysis, and systems analysis skills Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analytics, data visualization, and data reporting Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent prioritization, organization skills and flexibility to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment Well-developed facilitation, interviewing, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams Demonstrated ability to work independently and also as a contributing team member Well-developed ability to evaluate situations and make judgement calls on timely issue escalation Proficient use of computer, software, and peripheral equipment (MS Office suite, MS Project, MS Visio, and scrum or enterprise work management tools such as Kanban, Atlassian Jira, ServiceNow) Meetings and Travel: Office is in the Toronto Downtown area (Yonge/Dundas).

Some travel throughout the GTA is required, dependent on project assignment.
