Product Marketing Manager, IP Networks

Nokias IP Networks business division includes IP routing, network automation and analytics technologies and related services sold to our communication service provider customers as well as adjacent markets including webscale companies and enterprises.

Our comprehensive wide area networking and data center networking solutions enable our customers to build and operate automated, secure, and high-performance networks at massive scale – helping to interconnect people and things from any broadband access modality to – and among
– edge clouds, central clouds, the Internet, and other services and data centers.

This role is as a key member of the IP Routing product marketing team supporting the IP Networks business.

What you will learn and contribute to As product marketing manager for IP routing, you will be responsible for positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies for Nokia’s IP routing portfolio.

You will work closely with product management, the regional business centers and campaign strategy teams to develop compelling messaging and content and launch new features and solutions to market.

Key areas of responsibility include : Marketing and communication plan: Develop and drive comprehensive marketing programs to position Nokia as a thought leader and innovator in IP routing.

Drive the development of a communications plan in concert with campaign management and communications teams.

Content creation: Create product and portfolio collateral (data sheets, application notes, Brochures, ebooks, videos, blogs, presentations, demos etc.), with messaging that addresses real business needs, clearly articulates our value proposition, and is in sync with product development and sales goals.

Portfolio Evangelist: Acts as product or solution subject matter expert.

Work with product management, sales and marketing colleagues to help evangelize how our comprehensive approach to IP routing is uniquely suited to solve customer business challenges and how it is differentiated from the competition.

Work with industry analysts and other influencers to establish Nokia as an industry leader.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Customer Engagement: Understand and use different approaches to build and extend our end-user audiences (executive, IT, networking, security and consultants).

Sales Enablement: Ensure our sales teams and segment leads are confident and well equipped to sell our IP network management portfolio through delivering sales training and supporting collateral and tools (eg ROI studies, demos, customer success stories, etc.).

Your skills and experience You have: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

At least 5 years experience in IP routing/networking.

Great communication skills: presenting, listening, capturing and synthesizing.

Excellent writing skills are essential, along with the ability to effectively visualize and translate content into clear and compelling powerpoint presentations Strong focus on providing customer value and insight – business, technical and educational.

Industry knowledge across the service provider routing segment including one or more key applications (access/aggregation, core, peering, mobile transport, cloud) and the competitive landscape Technical knowledge of IP/MPLS networking technologies (e.g.
