POS (Point of Service) Specialist Technician

We are currently looking for a POS Specialist Computer Technician for one of our clients located on the North Shore.

Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d’un Technicien informatique spécialiste POS pour un de nos clients situé sur la rive Nord.

* Operate various POS systems to update menus, promotions, and standard restaurant configurations.
* Provide connectivity to allow downloading of data from franchisee POS systems.
* Train restaurateurs and staff on the operation of POS systems and reporting tools.
* Test and recommend new technologies related to POS and restaurants.
* Respond to inquiries by phone or email and assist franchisees.
* Link between IT suppliers and restaurant operators.
* Produce reports from the data collected, at the request of the various departments.
* Undertake any other related task as requested by management.

* Experience in the restaurant sector, ideally with a POS menu programming system (example: Maître’D, Veloce, Vivonet, Cluster)
* Experience in customer support and/or training
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Team spirit and willingness to support people from different departments
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software
* Bilingualism is required (French and English)
* Computer experience and skills are an asset
