We are seeking an SLP to provide assessment, direct treatment, and consultation services to a pediatric client population and their families. This role will deliver evidence-based therapies and multi-disciplinary approaches to health services and client care.

  Working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, we aim to help children and youth reach their full potential.

  We are seeking an SLP to provide assessment, direct treatment, and consultation services to a pediatric client population and their families. This role will deliver evidence-based therapies and multi-disciplinary approaches to health services and client care.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate language disorders (oral and written) and speech disorders to determine the speech therapy treatment and intervention plan for children ranging in ages from 0 to 18

• Plan, implement, evaluate and adapt speech language therapy services, goals and objectives to meet the specific needs of assigned clients, using theory, principles, best practices and treatment techniques

• Maintenance of written records of the clients’ progress during intervention and preparation of written reports or the initial assessment and/or treatment plan for each client serviced

• Provision of individual and/or small group intervention to clients on site at a CSS clinic

• Assists in the clinical management and supervision of CDA’s

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a health related field

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience supporting pediatric groups for in-center or school-based rehabilitation services

• Experience conducting formal and/or informal assessments of clients’ language abilities/challenges

• Clear vulnerable sector check is required

• Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday and travel between Mississauga & Toronto
