Job title :OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST | CASUAL POOL Community :TRAIL Facility :KOOTENAY BNDRY RGNL HSPTL Status :CASUAL Position Summary Interior Health’s Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) invites applications from Occupational Therapists for Casual employment openings.

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) is in the Kootenay Boundary health service area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to patients throughout its service area.

Located in Trail, between Grand Forks and Nelson, KBRH offers services including core physician specialties, 24 hour emergency and trauma services, laboratory, acute and obstetrical care, psychiatry, and chemotherapy.

The Occupational Therapist’s focus would be physical/medical adult, including inpatient surgical/orthopaedics, rehab unit, medical caseload.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between Zero and 37.5 hours per week.

Flexibility and availability to accept shifts is a requirement of the position.

Casual employees receive 12.6% of their straight time pay, exclusive of all premiums, in lieu of scheduled vacations and statutory holidays.

Upon completion of 180 hours, there is option of purchasing medical, dental and extended health benefit plans.
