.Net Full Stack Developer

.Net Full Stack Developer Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 2 Years Work Location: Remote This individual is responsible for creating clean and accessible code, that is open, follows agreed upon standards and specification, and is easy for others to maintain and reuse.

They will collaborative with the multidisciplinary team to develop software that meets user needs and requirements.

Full Stack Developer Resource Requirements The Developer will work closely with team members to turn user and operational needs into working software that meets end user needs and enables future proclamation of the Traffic Safety Act.

Reporting to the Product Manager, the developer will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to build products that meet functional requirements and are intuitive to use from the user perspective.

The Developer will create code that is reusable and easy to maintain.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Understand business requirements and design innovative technical solutions to support those needs.

– Develop systems that are secure, sustainable, and are supported by corporate standards, leveraging open-source technologies when advantageous.

– From a front-end development perspective, create user-facing services that align with the analysis work findings; work closely with the Service Designer and User Researcher to ensure the products and services address user, business, and operational needs, are appealing to the user, are easy to interpret and use, meet accessibility standards, and follow the established themes set for the RMV products.

– From a back-end perspective, create and debug business logic and foundational code needed to produce flexible and robust digital solutions based on user, operational, and business needs; work to create a relational database that allows maximized value from a data access, and analytics perspective.

– Follow agile software development practices to align with team’s cadence and achieve sprint goals.

– Create and debug application interface layers that allow services to connect to needed information, including the bridging of new and existing services.

– Participate in decision making processes by bringing all pertinent data, facts, and information forward in a way that is straight forward to comprehend.

– Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure clarity of user, business, and operational needs and proper translation to technical terms.

– Work collaboratively with team during efforts such as detailed planning and execution of legacy system decommissioning and the creation of new systems, while ensuring services are not interrupted significantly.

– Involvement in efforts related to data structure design, data migrations, data validation, data cleansing, and data conversions.

– Support code that has been moved to production in cases where errors or problems occur.

– Provide appropriate documentation to support all code.

MANDATORY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
– A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer of digital products and services.

RATED REQUIREMENTS
– Digital-based practices: Experience in agile software development practices.

– Digital-based practices: Experience conducting software demos, communicating progress, and identifying risks, impediments, and dependencies.

– Digital-based practices: Experience working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to understand requirements and translate user stories into technical designs and prototypes.

– Technical Skills: Extensive experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Blazor, React, or Angular.

– Technical Skills: Extensive experience in back-end technologies, including ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and Azure.

– Technical Skills: Advanced skills and experience in object-orient programming languages, such as C# and Java, to creating reusable code that is easy to debug and maintain.

– Technical Skills: Experience integrating systems using SOAP and/or REST web services.

– Technical Skills: Advanced skills in database design, development, and SQL scripting, and experience with data migrations.

– Leadership: Skills and experience in effective knowledge transfer techniques to help team members and sustainment resources to better understand technical aspects of developed products and services.

– Leadership: Proven ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and partners at all levels across technical and non-technical teams.
