In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting new web applications in support of our company’s ecommerce initiatives.

Reporting to the Applications Development Team Lead, the .Net Web Application Developer is responsible for: What you will do: Design, develop, test and implement new web applications based on project requirements.

Work with the Applications Development Team Lead to define requirements and to plan and implement solutions.

Support and maintain existing websites and web applications, troubleshoot issues as they arise and recommend improvements.

Communicate with team members regarding project status, development, tools & procedures.

Troubleshoot assigned IT Cases (Help Desk) in support of deployed applications and provide direction for work arounds, corrections and enhancements.

Document resolutions on case notes.

Communicate with users to find solution to resolve the case.

What we are looking for: Experience: 3 years’ experience developing desktop/mobile-ready responsive websites & web applications.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience building new solutions with C#, ASP.NET (MVC), HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery & WebAPI.

Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft .Net Framework.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2016.

Knowledge and experience working with TFS (Team Foundation Server) Experience working with 3rd Party API’s such as Authorize.Net, FedEx, etc., Excellent technical problem-solving skills combined with the ability to debug programming and system issues with minimal direction.

Excellent communications skills (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated organizational ability and follow-through.

Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously .

Demonstrated ability to work independently or work harmoniously as a member of a team.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology; Computer Science; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Nice to have but not essential: Experience working with Google Tag Manager.

Experience working with SOLR or Elasticsearch for search results.

Experience working with cloud-based platforms (Microsoft Azure/Amazon AWS) Knowledge of mobile development.
