The ship operations room is a key office as it provides the necessary information for the commander to take enlightened decisions.

These operators have the role of locating or identifying unknown radar.

They are looking for communications from submarines, ships, aircraft and land facilities (acoustic and radio transmissions, radio communications).

In addition, they are responsible for protecting the vessel using radar jamming systems and lures.

Military personnel can be asked to work on atypical schedules.
