We’ve built a great team of fun, respectful, talented folks who do great work.Find out more about us athttps://www.Mobivity.Com/Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, schedule and maintain the ETL pipelineArchitect and administer our AWS Redshift database(s) and associated toolsDocument processes, technical and system design specifications, and data modelsCoach and mentor junior members of the teamParticipate in ensuring compliance and governance of data useIdentify, design, and implement process improvements: automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality, etc.Assist the Data team and internal stakeholders with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needsAssist Developers and Data Scientists in the creation and delivery of reporting and analytics Desired Skills & QualificationsA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems or a related field5 years of experience in IT3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Database AdministrationExperience with Data Governance and Data ManagementExperience with Big Data ingestion, processing and visualizationExcellent SQL scripting skillsKnowledge of AWS infrastructure and tools (Data Pipeline, Redshift, EMR clusters, EC2, S3, Firehose, Kinesis, QuickSight)Notable Python coding skillsThorough knowledge of Spark tuning and best practicesAWS DevOps and infrastructure maintenance experience
