Media Solution Architect

We are looking for Media Architect (Telecom) who can lead as the highest level of solution architecture for the design and deployment and operations of innovative technology solutions. You will be responsible to create amazing and rich digital experiences as technology changes at lightning speed. We are seeking innovative teammates ready to guide some of the most well-known entertainment brands in the country through a digital transformation.

• Collaborate with media domain SME to understand business requirements and translate them into a robust cloud architecture.
• Ensure designs, code, and documentation are align with enterprise direction, principles, and standards.
• Act as a SME for the architecture and solution to drive growth and excellence within the team.
• Effectively engage with business and technology partners.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and media industry trends and developments.
• Design and implement cloud-based media solutions including Media Asset Management, Content Delivery Network (CDN), Over-the-Top (OTT) solutions, video, and audio live streams, and more.
• Design and implement available, scalable, and secure media workflows and infrastructures on the cloud, transcoding, and encoding pipelines, and delivery mechanisms.
• Delivery of high-quality work, on time and with little supervision.

• Bachelors’ in computer science, Engineering Management Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems is required.
• Must have overall 10+ years of IT experience with over 5 years of experience in Media Entertainment Practice for Linear, Digital (OTT) etc.
• Strong expertise in media-specific requirements and workflows.
• Solution architect background in the TV and Media Domain (Multiscreen, MDN, MSDP, Backend, STB, STB Client, OTT Client, A/V Pipe)
• Must be a Telecom SME.
• Specialised in Media & Entertainment business verticals like AdTech, Sports, News, Radio, and Production & Supply chain
• Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based media solutions.
• Experience in working on application development using “Java/JEE” along with Microservice architecture.
• Someone enthusiastic who can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, with a keen interest in innovation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Excellent leadership skills with the ease of making others grow and an excellent teammate.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred / Ideal Qualifications and Skills
• Product Development, Automation, Solution, Manage & Tracking, Delivery, Support & Governance experience of various industry sector.
• Specialize in Linear, Digital (OTT) and Media & Entertainment lines business.
• Exposure to modern web UI tools/framework will be highly desirable (Javascript Frameworks, AngularJS, ExtJs, NodeJS, etc.)
• Deep technical experience and appreciation of market trends and issues related to Multimedia and CSI
• Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
