• Electrical Engineering degree/diploma
• Minimum 5 years of programming of new equipment and automation systems from design to production
• Understand and apply ladder logic principles, including sequencer and analog control for I/O, ability to understand and program high-end PLC commands and HMI usage.

• Proficient knowledge in the following software packages: Allen Bradley RSLogix5,500,5000, Factory Talk View Studio, Allen Bradley Panel Builder32, Omron CX-Programmer, Labview program and maintenance test software
• Travel required within Canada and US DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience maintaining and programming vision control systems
• Knowledge and understanding of Hydraulic and pneumatic fundamentals and principles
• Experience with Labview and Omron test software and calibration MAIN DUTIES AND ACTIVITES OF JOB:
• Assist in quoting and design reviews for new automation lines
• Working with Integrators and internal IT department to develop design and build standards for PLC and communication controls for new equipment
• Follow equipment builds with Integrator, ensuring the controls conform to Mytox build standards for programming and communication
• Attend new equipment builds and trials at the integrator prior to sign off and shipment to the plant
• Complete improvements for error proofing and design function for all new and existing equipment as required
• Generate master standards for all variable controls within the production and assembly equipment and operation
• Work with IT department on projects for plant and equipment networking and communication
• Assist in the training of plant maintenance personnel on new equipment for troubleshooting and PM purposes
• Good English (both written and verbal) communication skills
• Knowledge of WHMIS/GHS
• Good organizational skills, ability to work well without supervision
• Attends training based on Mytox Internal Training Matrix
• Adheres to all Mytox safety rules and regulations
• Follows all applicable Mytox BOS procedures
