Manager, Tools and Automation

Reporting to the Director, Operations Transformation, the Tools & Automation Manager is a pivotal role involving the newly created team.

The successful candidate will lead a dynamic environment to maintain, configure, operate, implement and extend our PMO Tools systems and processes.

The successful candidate will manage a team of technical leads to own and maintain the Access Deployment Management Tool, the main project management platform for our access portfolio (documenting the spend of approx $1.3B of yearly CAPEX).

The position requires strong analytical, technical and tools-based program management acumen as well as an ability to work with senior leaders in a high-paced environment managing diverse activities.

– Oversee the implementation and distribution of Acess Networks tools in order to improve existing/new processes.

– Manage and act as the main administrator, support and governance of the ADM tool within ANEO
– Meet regularly with project teams to ensure involvement in project planning and to stay current with project scope and milestones.

– Support the team in creating processes to ensure adherence to data integrity and reliability within the toolsets
– Partner with Champions leading their respective program areas to ensure appropriate knowledge sharing, and to identify
– Lead the consolidation and prioritization of tools across the Access PMO organization QUALIFICATIONS /COMPETENCIES:
– 5 years experience working with the current tools landscape across Access Networks
– 10 years of professional and telecom industry experience
– 5 years management experience
– Kaizen Six Sigma Black certification preferred
– Highly organized and detail-oriented
– Strong business sense to help drive prioritization decisions
– Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
– Strong relationship skills with the ability to balance multiple stakeholders and agendas simultaneously
– Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
– Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
– Managerial courage and strong negotiation skills
