Maintenance Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator

Job Description Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for the procurement of all Maintenance related inventory, receive & put away stock at the assigned location, track orders and coordinate with shipping to arrange & expedite orders as needed, update CMMS on a routine basis & perform cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.

Duties And Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the Maintenance Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator are detailed below, but not limited to the following Monitor and reorder parts for Inventory.

Obtains quotes and enter Purchase Requisitions.

Follow up on order confirmation and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with Shipping to arrange/expedite delivery as needed.

Maintain and track the list of parts sent for repair.

Ensure accuracy of parts received against the Purchase Order.

Enters data into the CMMS & generate reports.

Storeroom Organization.

Perform routine checks and cycle counts to ensure Inventory accuracy.

Track & report checked out parts.

Monitors the VMI Program.

Report performance by publishing relevant KPIs.

Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience A High school diploma or a GED equivalent qualification.

Post-Secondary education preferred.

Must have experience with Maintenance Inventory Management.

Must have working experience using CMMS.

Must have experience with Purchase Order entry & Invoice management Must have experience with document management Strong Knowledge of MS Excel, Word & Outlook.

Technical Skills/Competence Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment, and tools.

Detail oriented & High degree of accuracy with data entry.

Working knowledge of Purchasing & Invoice processing using CMMS/EAM software.

Ability to fluently communicate with vendors and staff.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.

Ability to generate reports and maintain databases.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
