With Kandy, companies of all sizes and types can quickly embed real-time communications capabilities into their existing applications and business processes.We are looking for a Web Platform Developer responsible for implementing and enhancing the Kandy CPaaS platform and enabling the Kandy UC application framework / ecosystem.The Kandy platform provides the building blocks which can be rapidly assembled by web developers to build sophisticated UC clients and applications to suit specific Enterprise and Vertical business needs that is able to work in a fast pace agile environment.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and support Java applications for the platformDevelop and support Java utilities used by platform and services teamsIntegrate and develop function to support monitoring and debugging of the CPaaS ecosystem (Logging, Alarming, Operational measurements)Help identify the ongoing evolution needs of the framework, platform, assessing new technology for improvements and rapidly deploying to GENBAND and 3rds party developer base.Understand the depth of an application to analyze issues & bugs and to estimate new features and improvementsWorks closely with the Business owners and the functional teams to facilitate successful execution of deliverablesQualificationsMust Have: Must have minimum of 3-10 years of professional development experience in an enterprise environmentDegree in computer science / engineering or related disciplineExperience with JavaExperience with JavaScriptExperience with Elasticsearch applicationsExperience with integrating 3rd party application into AVCT code infrastructure Experience with databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, OracleExperience with database cashing, in-memory database, data replicationExperience with performance analysis and tuningExperience with modeling / profiling toolsExperience in security hardening of applications / platformsExcellent communication skillsCommitted to learning and growing with the team and eager to take on new challenges.

Nice to Have: Familiarity with JenkinsFamiliarity with Helm management of microservicesFamiliarity Real-time HA systemsFamiliarity with performance, capacity measurement and analysisFamiliarity in deploying complex products, solutionsFamiliarity with real-time communication ecosystems including Application servers, session border controllers, proxies, gatewaysFamiliarity with WebRTC.Familiarity with protocols: REST, SIP, RTP, WebsocketFamiliarity with C / C++ Supervisory Responsibility The intermediate developer position does or does not have supervisory responsibilities.
