This is a Full-time position in Waterloo, QC posted January 13, 2020.

As a JavaScript Game Developer, you will collaborate with the product and development teams to create, polish and maintain games that our customers will love.

We work hard through perseverance and taking ownership, but because of our phenomenal positive attitude, we ALWAYS have fun along the way.YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL AT:Maintaining, supporting and modernizing Axonify’s game library.Creating and developing new arcade-type games that are responsive, engaging and of high quality that our customers will enjoy.Producing gameplay prototypes from ideas and/or requirements.Working collaboratively with the development and product teams.Participating in design and code reviews.Creating unit tests and validation procedures to assure quality.BECAUSE YOU BRING:Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field.Experience with HTML5 game engines including Phaser and GameMaker.Up to date with the latest gaming trends, techniques, best practices and technologies.Experience with HTML5 technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.) in a cross-browser and cross-platform environment (mobile and desktop).Excellent understanding of JavaScript, common design patterns and OO designs.Understanding of RESTful APIs is an asset.Experience with ES2015 and JavaScript frameworks are assets.A desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving, dynamic environment.A detail-oriented mindset, and are a highly enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
