Position Description
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full time, contract (2 years) IT/DS Analyst (Infrastructure & Service Delivery) to work in the Information Management Group (IMG) and reporting to the Manager, IT Operations Infrastructure and Service Delivery. The IT DS Analyst (Infrastructure & Service Delivery), key accountabilities will include, and are not limited to, End-User application support, Microsoft Office 365 Administration and Troubleshooting, Windows (2016/2019/2022) Server, Windows 10/11 Desktop, Citrix Technologies (XenApp/XenServer/XenMobile/Netscaler), Cisco Networking (Wired/Wireless), MDM technologies(Citrix Endpoint Management/Microsoft Intune/SureMDM). In addition, the successful candidate will assist in day-to-day operational support in areas such as Operating System and application patching, Printing, Application testing and licensing, as well as hardware/software chargebacks, and Asset Tracking. The candidate will support the planning and on-going deployment of Windows 10 across the organization. You will work collaboratively with CAMH resources and our Managed Services Provider in the testing, coordination, and implementation, and assist where necessary to acclimate our users to the Windows 10 operating system. You will also work with users to understand their requirements pre and post deployment. Other Other IT related duties may be assigned as required. This position requires that the candidate frequently install/move/add/change (IMAC) server and network equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more. The candidate will support a workplace that embraces diversity, and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. This position is located at the Queen Street site.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience. The candidate will also have a three (3) years supporting Windows Server, including SQL (in basic/intermediate capacity) in a medium to large enterprise environment and working knowledge supporting Citrix Technologies (XenApp/Netscaler), Microsoft Office 365, and Virtualization Technologies (XenServer/VMware). The candidate will understanding Cloud Technologies (Azure/AWS), Networking, including but not limited to Cisco technologies, BIX, cross-connect, and cable tracing. Understand processes and best practices related to SDLC and DCLC. Ideally the candidate would be proficient in Microsoft desktop operating systems (Windows 10/11) and desktop image deployment, as well has Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Project. Demonstrated ability to work jointly with business users to understand testing needs based on business requirements. Is able to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet the goals of the Information Management Group. Has proven trouble shooting/debugging skills with ability to isolate/resolve problems and escalate where required. You will have excellent communication (written and verbal) interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Microsoft/Citrix/Cisco certifications are strongly preferred. Ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language is an asset.

Please Note: This full-time, contract (2 years) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.

Salary Range: $38.21 – $51.54 per hour
