Intermediate Back End Developer

Randstad Canada

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted December 1, 2019.

ONTARIO MINISTRY REQUIRES A BACK END DEVELOPER FOR A CONTRACT TO MARCH 31, 2021 (APPROX 16 MONTHS) Back-end development experience 3-7 years of experience Hands-on experience with modern technology stack such as Node.js, PHP, Python, GO, npm, RabbitMQ, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Redis, Git, Docker (Minimum 2 years’ experience)
• Demonstrated experience with RDBMS / webserver / OS e.g.

PostgreSQL, MongoDB, NGINX, Linux
• Building API driven-solutions, microservices, analytics, security-driven development, and, transactional systems
– e.g., RESTful APIs, GraphQL, API gateway
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud delivery / deployment models Framework & testing experience
• Testing end-to-end, cross-browser, device, and accessibility testing (e.g.

WCAG accessibility standards) including running automated test scripts
• Demonstrated experience with web frameworks: Vue.js, React, Twig, Laravel, Symfony Leadership & methodologies
• Experience on a build/run team using agile methods such as understanding of product backlog in sprint planning, conveying vision for team on end-product, experience part of scrum ceremonies, etc.

• Experience mentoring and coaching staff to support their development
• Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience working on a mature product balancing the need to address technical debt with new product enhancements through continuous iterations
