This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted February 20, 2021.

In this role you will be required have exceptionally strong code in your solutions working on developing modern day retail/e-commerce solutions to work with retail customers and inter-organization clients.

Your solutions developed need to be simple and clean in their code yet forward thinking in the ability for future adaptation as well as being flexible for compatibility with other products.The required skills for this role will be:5 years of demonstrated experience in implementing large scale solutions based on ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and J2EE technologyStrong knowledge of Spring FrameworkExperience with front-end development technologiesIn depth knowledge of Object Orientated DesignProficiency with Restful web services in Spring frameworkSQL Database experienceExperience working in Agile frameworkStrong communications skillsA seasoned API developer with more than 5 years of experienceJava 810, Spring Boot, Junit, GradlSwagger, HoverflyHibernateDocker, Kubernetes, Helm, GCPGitLab, GitLab CI, SonarqubeApigee, AmbassadorExperience working on AWS / GCP / AzureExperience working with Microservices architecturePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Solid experience building and maintaining RESTful APIsStrong understanding of systems and microservices designStrong understanding of security architectureSome understanding of cloud architecture in GCPCI/CD experience (GitLab IC, Jenkins, Team City)You have developed large applications in a team environment.Experience working in Hybrid application developmentNICE TO HAVE:Previous retail/e-commerce experience or anything that is web based business to consumerfocusedWork remotely: Temporarily due to COVID-19
