Global Director, Salesforce

The Need The Global Director, Salesforce will be responsible for delivering maximum value to business leaders through close collaboration and partnership on IJM’s multiple global enterprise Salesforce applications.

The primary responsibility of this position is to establish consistency and standardization for IJM’s enterprise Salesforce applications and ensure scalability of the team’s structure and support model.

Enterprise Salesforce applications including current instances of Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce Experience Cloud.

The Global Director, Salesforce will be a critical voice on the Global Technology Solutions leadership team and will direct the enterprise Salesforce application teams to develop and deploy entirely new and innovative Salesforce applications to meet IJM’s growing Program and Revenue needs across all Regions.

This leader will also provide new features to existing Salesforce applications, as prioritized by the Business and Product Roadmaps using Agile delivery methodology.

This leader is also responsible for full system development life cycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions and makes final product decisions.

This position is based at IJM Headquarters in the Washington, DC area and reports to VP, Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities Management of the Global Salesforce applications of Constituent Relationship Management (“CRM”), E-Commerce, Email Marketing, and Online Giving for IJM US and IJM Canada; Justice Data Solution (“JDS”) for all IJM Field Offices; JDS Partner Portal for IJM’s South Asia Region, as well as all add-ons and core integrations, including but not limited to IJM’s websites and integration with its criminal analytics platform; Ensure Salesforce sprint teams meet standards for Business Analysis, Configuration/Development, Testing, and Delivery of new Features in order to deliver quality solutions that are production-ready; Serve as Technical Lead on JDS, CRM to IJM Canada, and JDS Partner Portal Global projects, managing global configuration planning and execution with external vendor resources, internal analysts, business partners, and IT PMO; Drive continual Product improvements and inform the Product Roadmap with new ideas based on strategic vision, product performance, and ongoing user requests; Develop Product Roadmap and facilitate Product Governance in order to ensure business leaders set the priorities and approve system changes; Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce Analysts, Administrators, Developers and Trainers, as well as coordinate and oversee IT partner or vendor teams to ensure high quality delivery; Develop and oversee offshore vendors and contractors to provide strategic and global support of Tier 1-3 issues to IJM Salesforce application users around the globe ; Provide strategic oversight by helping to facilitate the business in automating and streamlining their business needs; and Drive successful adoption and value of the platform across supported regions.

Requirements: Masters’ degree in MBA or Computer Science, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and certification; 15 years professional experience; 10 years CRM systems experience, including new module implementation, project management, issue management, communication, and change management required; Prior experience with global system support and deployment a plus; 5 years of experience in Product Management, Product Design and/or Solution Architecture with a proven record of building scalable enterprise applications with multiple integrations; 5 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role working in a multinational organization specific to Salesforce applications; 5 years of experience with Business Process Reengineering for CRM/Fundraising and JDS/Case Management partners; 5 years of Salesforce analyst/admin experience with Advanced Salesforce Certifications (Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, etc.) strongly preferred; SDLC and Agile experience required; SCRUM certification preferred; Experience with vendor management and budgeting required; and Bilingual English and (Spanish, German, or a language spoken in an IJM office) preferred.
